Our work and support

This section is about our own work: how a treatment case moves from the first medical report to coming home, what happens on a distribution day in Gaza before and after the photograph, and how recipient families are chosen and against which published criteria.

We write candidly about what stalls, because honesty is a condition rather than an improvement: a permit delay can cancel an operation date while the money sits available, food items have arrived and gone unused because they need fuel that is not there, and there is the moment the parcels run out while people are still in the queue — the hardest moment of the day.

We also explain how giving actually works in a context like Gaza: why regular funding buys more than a surprise gift in a market whose prices move weekly, and why unrestricted giving covers the line items nobody donates to and the work cannot run without.

And how to verify us: our Texas registration number and its certificate are published in the footer of every page, and in this section we say what we have not yet met.
