This page explains what happens to your gift after you send it, and what you are entitled to in return.
How we receive donations today
There is no payment gateway on this site at present. When you choose an amount on the donation page, we record your intention to give and email you the details for a direct transfer. No card details are requested and no money is taken through the site.
That means the gift is completed by a step you take at your bank, not by a button here. If the transfer details do not reach you, write to info@tazcharity.org.
How donations are used
You can direct your gift to a specific programme — treatment abroad, education in Gaza, or food parcels — or leave it as "where it is needed most". We honour the direction you choose.
If a programme becomes fully funded or stops running, we contact you before moving your gift to another one.
Receipts
We issue a receipt for every donation that reaches us. Send your transfer confirmation to info@tazcharity.org so the receipt carries your name and the correct amount.
Tax status
Tareeq Alzuhoor Charity Inc. is a nonprofit corporation registered with the Texas Secretary of State under file number 805068490. The certificate of filing is published on our About page, where you can download and verify it. To find out whether your gift is tax-deductible where you live, write to us and we will provide the charity's tax details.
Refunds
Donations are not refundable as a rule, because they are committed to programmes once received. If something went wrong, though — a duplicate payment, a figure you did not intend, a transfer you did not mean to make — write to us within thirty days and we will put it right.
Fundraising in the charity's name
No person or organisation may raise funds in the name of Tareeq Alzuhoor Charity Inc. without written authorisation from us. If you are asked for a donation in our name and are unsure, check with us first at info@tazcharity.org. The only official channels are this website and the charity's own email address.
Donor privacy
We do not sell or exchange donor information. We do not name you publicly as a donor without your explicit agreement. What we collect is set out in our Privacy Policy.
